Longing for a freshly-picked vegetable salad at a low price? Craving for a mug of steaming chocolate drink made from Davao’s finest cacao beans? Need a place to eat delicious strawberry ice cream, batchoy, pastil, and more? Then Bemwa Farm is waiting for you!
This wondrous place is just a 2-hour drive away from Davao City’s downtown area. It’s located at Datu Salumay, Marilog, Davao City, Philippines. The entrance fee here is free which is really awesome! You can take a picture of their strawberry and lettuce plantation, and also their sunflowers.
Aside from the relaxing scenery which is really Instagram-worthy, you can also lounge at their cafe and order delicious food and beverages.
We stayed at Buda for three days, so we visited Bemwa twice. During our first trip there, we tried their Fried chocolate ice cream with soft strawberry ice cream on top which is just Php 100.00 or $ 1.96. It was really good and worth the price.
We also tried their lugaw (porridge) which costs Php 60.00 or $1.17 per bowl (since their Batchoy was already sold-out). Of course, your Bemwa experience will not be complete if you haven’t eaten their freshly-picked vegetable salad which costs Php 100.00 or $ 1.96. š
We really wanted to try their best-selling batchoy, so we went back there the following day. Thank goodness it’s available! So we ordered batchoy which costs Php 90.00 or $ 1.76 per serving and pastil for Php 30.00 or $0.59. We paired it with their delicious milk tea which is only Php 60.00 or $1.17 each.
I’m not exaggerating here, but it was surely the most flavorful batchoy I’ve tasted. It’s really a must-try!!

They also offer puto maya with sikwate which is also a must-try according to my friends who’ve been there. Too bad our stomachs were so full from all our food trips at Buda, so we were not able to try it.
Here are some of our selfies and coufies (couple selfies? lol) at Bemwa Farm. š
